The Powershield Defender PSD 650VA UPS is perfect for supporting multiple computers, peripherals, networked PCs, and point of sale systems. In case of a power outage, the UPS allows the PC to continue operating, allowing for safe shutdown and saving of work. To prevent damage to software and data, it is important to properly shutdown computers, which the UPS and included software can do automatically during power outages. Backup time can last up to 10 minutes, depending on the connected load. The compact design makes it suitable for under desk use.
