Description
The Redback A5131 is equipped with 4 balanced mic inputs and 3 line inputs. Input 1 is designed for balanced mic use, while inputs 2 - 4 can handle both balanced mic and line level input. Microphones can be connected using a 5-way pluggable euro block, while line connections can be made through a stereo RCA socket (converted to mono internally). It also has two outputs, one for balanced output (selectable level of 3mV or 1V) and one for line level. The rear DIP switch allows for selection of 3 priority modes.
Cascade: Input 1 overrides 2-4, Input 2 overrides 3-4, Input 3 overrides 4.
FIBD: Regardless of which input is being used, it automatically blocks out all other inputs.
None: No priority therefore all inputs will be mixed as per a normal mixer.
Configuration options include PTT muting for microphone inputs and VOX muting for both microphone and line inputs. Each input has a volume control and channel active LED indicator.

Rack Mounting:
The H 4990 bracket is necessary for mounting any of the Redback half rack products onto a 19" wide racking system. Adding a metal (H 4992) or plastic (H 4993) infill panel to the H 4990 results in a more polished appearance when a single product is mounted.
